Following on from the sell out success of Civilised Sundays at Jikoni in Marylebone we are presenting Well Crafted Women, our new intimate event series hosted at Café Jikoni at the V&A East Museum, celebrating brilliant women at the top of their craft.

Bringing together voices from food, art, design, fashion and culture, each conversation offers a rare insight into the creative practices, inspirations and philosophies that shape their work. 

Episode 1 - Meet poet, novelist and dancer Tishani Doshi, winner of the Forward Prize and Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, in conversation with award winning novelist Kamila Shamsie, about Tishani’s new collection of poetry Egrets, While War

Hosted by Ravinder Bhogal and the Café Jikoni team.

Arrivals from 7pm, with the conversation taking place from 7.30–8.15, followed by an audience Q&A, and time to reflect, mingle and connect over a Café Jikoni buffet and drinks, with fellow guests before the evening draws to a close at 9pm.
